There are many institutions that provide expert medical care to people diagnosed with cancer. Gilda’s Club augments those services by creating a community of support to meet the needs of everyone whose life is changed by a  cancer diagnosis – the patient, family and friends – which is essential to ensuring quality cancer care.

Gilda’s Club North Texas plans to open the doors of a new 3,100 square foot Collin County Clubhouse in Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen (THA) in 2010. The Satellite campus in Allen will be situated across from the hospital’s Breast Center, with the main access through a healing garden, and additional internal access within the hospital. But we need your help to make this dream a reality!

The mission of Gilda’s Club North Texas is to create welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer - men, women, teens and children - along with their families and friends. Our innovative program is an essential complement to medical care, providing networking and support groups, workshops, education and social activities.

Gilda’s Clubhouse is a place for inspiration, relaxation, hope and learning, a place to gather and celebrate life with fellow members, families and friends and a place to find strength for living.

The Gilda’s Club philosophy is changing the way people live with cancer. Support for the whole family, the whole time is Gilda’s Club’s commitment to the more than 20,000 individuals who will be diagnosed with cancer in north Texas this year – and more than 180,000 cancer survivors in the Collin County area.
